Unlock! is a cooperative card game inspired by escape rooms that uses a simple system which allows you to search scenes, combine objects, and solve riddles. Play Unlock! to embark on great adventures, while seated at a table using only cards and a companion app that can provide clues, check codes, monitor time remaining, etc.
Unlock! Mystery Adventures features three "escape room" scenarios that you can play on your tabletop:
The House on the Hill: What’s going on in this run-down manor? Explore the sinister pieces and foil the curse that haunts this desolate place. Designed by Fabrice Mazza, illustrated by Pierre Santamaria.
The Nautilus’ Traps: Attacked by a sea monster during a dive, you seek shelter by opening a hatch in an old submarine. Find a way back to the surface! Designed by Arnaud Ladagnous, illustrated by Florian de Gesincourt.
The Tonipal’s Treasure: Captain Smith hid his treasure on Tonipal Island. Unravel the mystery before Johnson, another treasure hunter, beats you to it! Designed by Billy Stevenson & Sebastien Pauchon, illustrated by Sergo.
Note: Unlock! requires a free application to be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. Once downloaded, an internet connection is not required during game play.

I like these unlock games. They are fun not simple to finish (this is of course subjective to the players) and they give back a good atmosphere.

House on the Hill - 7 Standard escape room style adventure. You simply solve puzzles to open boxes and doors to get to the next room just so you can solve more puzzles. This one felt the least interesting or creative. I still enjoyed playing this, but only felt this served the purpose of being a good case for those playing Unlock for the very first time. If you've played another other scenario before this, this one will feel pretty dull. I would rank this as one of the lowest adventures due to it being very easy and pretty straightforward. Nautilus Trap - 5 This is the most frustrating experience. It only has 2 lock difficult rating, but really was the hardest one. The puzzles were very vague, some dexterity puzzles that are annoying to solve and not very intuitive. Also, the story was pretty generic like the House on the Hill. Just solve puzzles and move on to the next room to solve more puzzles until you're done. None of the puzzles felt fun either, just felt like work. This is the lowest rated adventure so far. The Tonipal Treasure - 9 A pirate themed adventure that took 2 hours to complete. This one wasn't very hard, just very long. It doesn't even feel like an escape room, more like you are solving puzzles so you can move on to another location. I felt this had the right mix of being challenging, but also reachable with solving each of the puzzles. I didn't love the theme and felt it was kind of the standard escape room type game of just solving puzzles and moving on to the next place to solve more puzzles, but the game got more interesting as the story went along. Some of the puzzles became more thematic and the final one is so far the most enjoyable final boss puzzle in the series so far. Overall - 7 The first two adventures were a bit disappointing, but the final one made up for it. This is only the 2nd edition of the Unlock series, so I can excuse it being ok and confident the series will continue to get better from here.
