Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Can't top the BSG theme, and I'm not an Arkham fan by any stretch, but the mechanics were solid, the tension of finding the enemies (or hiding as them) was there, and the player aids are far superior in this version. Definitely a worthwhile play if BSG isn't an option.

Felt like the traitors didn't really stand a chance, at any point in the game. And it was a long, long, long game.

A really smart re-skin of Battlestar Galatica. Losely set in the Arkham universe (as so much FF stuff is) this is a simplified and stripped back game compared to is forefather. That said, it is still not a quick game to play. Set aside at least 2 hours.
