Tiny Towns is a bingoesque pattern building game by Peter McPherson (Space Base) where each player places resource cubes on his own 4x4 player board. A player chooses a cube and all players pick a cube of that color and put it into their particular grid to match one of the house pattern on one of the public building cards. If a player succeeds, the player can replace the placed cubes with a wooden town token. [b]Pros:[/b] + Artwork + Components Custom wooden houses, wooden cubes for resources, grid player boards + Variability There are different public building cards out that changes the scoring each game. + Slightly special player powers Each player has a special tower that + Buildings are intertwined Completed buildings grant victory points for certain conditions (like position, adjacency, or feeding other buildings) that mostly have something to do with other buildings. So players are advised to build different buildings and not only the same building over and over again. Not as good as advertised for experienced gamers. It's fairly easy to see the most efficient way to get points. Then, its just a matter of hoping you get the right resources. Not very satisfying.

Excellent thinky filler that is very easy to teach, but is secretly a hardcore spatial puzzle that requires you to pay attention not only to your board, but other players. Can be surprisingly cutthroat as you can fill up other player's boards, by forcing them to build materials they don't need. Probably best at 2-4, any higher gets too chaotic and the roll-and-write variant looses the interaction which gives this it's charm.
