This mission felt even more straight forward than Hadal Project. Since you no longer loop and repeat runs, you basically are just exploring every card. This mission even starts off without any knowledge of your main objective. You are left bumbling through, and ultimately can even be punished for such exploration, depending on what sequence of locations you complete. The finale is even worse, as it effectively requires the players to break the core rules to complete.

A mini version of etherfields without the fluff. The first new design in the line (hadal was designed for the old system and plays like it) comes out with escape room mechanics, third wall breaking narrative, overlaying map cards, resource limited searching, leaps of faith, weird card layouts... if that all sounds like etherfields... it’s because it essentially is without the deck building and other fluff that weights down that game. The overarching story gets weird and meta, and the system overall is blisteringly expensive and $100 for the first two games and the story mode overlay... but overall they pull it off and I’m looking forward to their next... oh god 7 planned expansions...

Un bon second opus dans la série des "Time Stories Révolution". Original. Je conseille toutefois de commencer par "The Hadal Projekt", plus classique.
