Certainly there are great ideas here - the way actions are selected and shared is neat, the combat system feels good (a bit of Shogun/Samurai from the old MB days in some ways) and the flow is good. But it also has critical (essential) alliances and 'anything you want deals, but are not binding' which works for groups that love that, but if you don't, this game feels flat and a pale reflection of its elder brother, Blood Rage. So not great for me and my gaming group.

Only got this to the table once so far which I really enjoyed. I suspect if I play it a few more times it could go up in my estimation.

Area control, with the main draw being beautiful minis. Heavy reliance on table negotiation and alliance making. Some interesting decisions, the most interesting part of the game is the coin assignment in battles.
