This feels more like a 1st expansion than the other one: I like how the marbles work in this one more in that they are added directly, and it has less superfluous rules, but like most first expansions it expands the player count to those that don't work as well with the game.

A very worthy expansion especially if you don't already have the plastic marble tray. The wild marbles work well with the system. Easier to implement then the previous expansion.

Always enjoy more players, but some players are convinced that certain potions are objectively better than others, and it is difficult to disagree with them. Tracking which dispenser is 'active' is a bit fiddly, but not too bad if one person groks it and lets other players know. A player aid for the different potions is now officially required to keep the pace of the game up. The new wild resource makes the game much easier, and some could argue shorter, as they can easily fill potions and explode like any other type of marble. More of the same (in a good way), and probably about all they can wring out of this game system. Also, I haven't found a way to store both marble slides and other components in the base box, increasing the shelf footprint somewhat...
