Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Games with partnerships offer players a set of rules for alliances and teams. Partners are often able to win as a team, or penalties are enforced for not respecting alliances

The game is fun the mechanics work well and make it interesting. However after playing 3 games it seems near impossible for the king or the loyalists to win. We had 6 players so no agents not sure if that would help or not. They should have published more Ambition cards to offer better variability in games. I also think they should start with 2 consecutive mission turns as the King has to make choices after the first turn with very little to go on. I recommend it as it is fun especially if you're a GoT fan

I love game of thrones and there were some fun thematic elements, not sure if it would do enough to separate itself form the plethora of social deduction games out there. Would need a few more plays.

The theming of the game is pretty good and you can definitely get a GoT vibe while playing it. A lot of the mechanics in the game can be quite interesting too and add a little extra spice compared to other similar social deduction games such as Resistance: Avalaon. The game seems to massively fall apart in terms of balance though. I have played this game quite a few times and have never once seen the loyalist team win, which kind of sucks some of the fun out the game. The main issue probably stems from the good and bad team having the same amount of players (or even the bad team having more players if you don't include the king as a good player) which is something I don't recall seeing in any other social deduction game. On top of that, the bad team almost always earns more points for winning a location than the good team will earn. Overall, it's a kind of interesting game you would maybe want to give a go but I don't think it has all that much to offer long term.
