0.5 play / 4 players (kids) An interesting watered down version, but not entirely simple, there are still advanced concepts in this game. The two kids did not have patience for the high number of rules.

Fills a very narrow gap in the market: that sweet sliver when your kids are too young to play Scythe (under 10-12), old enough to play a fairly complex game (over 8) and don't want to play a better kids game.

Game one was an absolute hit with my 9yo, and the adults had a pretty good time with it as well. Easily the most engaging kids game we've tried. 3 players was pretty good but we were able to avoid much interaction for the most part, I can see how it would get a bit more interesting with 4+ players. Keen to get it out again! Update: This dropped sharply for me after a couple more plays. Got repetitive quickly and it was pretty difficult to play sub-optimally to give the kids a chance. Too involved for the kids to play on their own, and I have no desire to play it again.
