This mechanic usually requires players to pick up an item or good at one location on the playing board and bring it to another location on the playing board. Initial placement of the item can be either predetermined or random. The delivery of the good usually gives the player money to do more actions with. In most cases, there is a game rule or another mechanic that determines where the item needs to go.

Spider Springs just makes Fireball Island that much better. It adds so much more chaos and variation to an already diverse and interesting game. Playing with every expansion is crazy and awesome. Just when I thought I couldn't love this game anymore, Spider Springs made me love it more.

A new area with some goodies and traps. The broken bridge is too large (at least in my copy) and will not let marbles go past it. The game area is getting too big for only five players.

update: good in concept. Make the game less interesting. Someone goes to collect eggs, thus not interacting with the other players. There is no real competition over egg majority. spiders just reduce choices. This should have been a fun expansion, and it superficially appears to make more dexterity stuff happen. However, in practice, less interaction happens. iniital impression: A very good expansion. Some of the other expansions were weak, but this one seems to have learned from those lessons. There is a good reason to go to the new board (unlike pirate island), the existing game balance is not disrupted (unlike snakes and bees), and players interact with the board (via spiders) even when not directly intending to. It also adds more player interaction via eggs to steal, similar to the big red gem. Well done.
