Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

I just love this game. I love everything about it. It's fun through and through. Is it a brain-burner? No. But it's not brainless and there are interesting decisions because you're always so close to dying. Just awesome. We play 2-player with two characters each and it's a blast.

One of the best dungeon crawlers I played - I love the fast, streamlined gameplay and the pulpy feeling. We have already had several highly dramatic matches, sometimes with a happy outcome, sometimes with an unfortunate one.

Best Cthulhu game I have come across, certainly at the tactical level, at least. It has some quirky mechanics, such as you get more focused and powerful as you become more insane and that you "might" be on fire, once you LEAVE a room, but you're fine as you fight in a raging inferno. But you know what? I don't care. I have wargames for realism. I just want to have a lot of fun with plastic toys and awesome theme and no cubes and no beige and no boring puzzle to solve and this checks the boxes.
