Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

This game was sometimes fun to play. The interest and enjoyment of each session depended on how well the scenario and the mythos monster combined together. This game was too much stuff. It took up a whole Kallax cube even after we combined things down into as few boxes as possible. We even got rid of the investigator miniatures to save space and just used player markers. Despite the abundance of physical stuff it became really repetitive after a few times. Due to space, set up time, and variable enjoyment we got rid of this.

This game smacks you right in face starting on the first turn. No easing in. I enjoy the insanity track and card abilities. Plenty of cool moments and it's quite thematic.

Only played it once so far, but it was fantastic. It feels a bit like Betrayal might if you skipped right to the Haunt.
