Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

A neat dice chucker, with plenty of randomness and a variety of scenarios that reward/require doing certain things. Definitely not "Any combination of party members will work for any given scenario", so you need to put some thought into party composition, but I'm not sure that's a bad thing. Downsides: A lot of bookkeeping and upkeep actions all the time for a pretty simple game about throwing dice and going crazy. Wouldn't need to own because the price, but it's enjoyable enough to play someone else's copy.
