Between Two Castles of Mad King Ludwig
Between Two Castles of Mad King Ludwig is a competitive tile-drafting game in which each tile is a room in a castle. You work together with the player on your left to design one castle, and with the player on your right on another castle. To win, you have to share your attention and your devotion between two castles.

An oddly titled game featuring the same interesting concept as the earlier Between Two Cities: players draft tiles and play them simultaneously, kind of like in 7 Wonders, except that each player collaborates with each of their neighbors to build two castles rather than working alone. Like 7 Wonders, its structure is such that it can accommodate a lot of players with very little downtime. One possible drawback: if your eyes are as bad as mine, you may struggle to make out the VERY small text and iconography on the tiles even when they're right in front of you.

A great successor of Between Two Cities. The trays the game comes with are top notch. Definitely one of the best games component- and game-play wise as well.

-Have yet to play this, but at a surface glance, I actually feel like I'd like to trade this for Between Two Cities, which I feel looks like a bit more of an "elegant" game, as opposed to this one, which I feel like might be overcomplicating a simple premise.- Update: After playing this now, I can confirm that it takes the original Between Two Cities concept and adds mechanics that do not really benefit it. Still an alright game to play, but scoring now is a chore, rather than a quick and fun resolution.
