Castles of Mad King Ludwig
In the tile-laying game Castles of Mad King Ludwig, players are tasked with building an amazing, extravagant castle for King Ludwig II of Bavaria…one room at a time. Each player acts as a building contractor who is adding rooms to the castle he’s building while also selling his services to other players.

Great idea with the concept, but way too much luck of the draw involved when it comes to the room tiles and scoring opportunities (King's wishes and bonus cards).

Not really for trade just a parts copy. Severely damaged Box. Missing one tile. Replaced with a home made one.

Excellent tile laying game with the auctioning and variable methods to score points. The only thing that stops this game from being a '10' in my mind is the analysis paralysis that can happen when the Master Builder is assigning prices to the rooms. I'm not typically a solo gamer, but I happily play this solo. The only complaint of solo play is the loss of all tiles at the end of the round. This removes the ability to plan and I find luck can make or break the scoring.
