Between Two Castles of Mad King Ludwig
Between Two Castles of Mad King Ludwig is a competitive tile-drafting game in which each tile is a room in a castle. You work together with the player on your left to design one castle, and with the player on your right on another castle. To win, you have to share your attention and your devotion between two castles.

Greatly improves the system of Between two Cities with interesting tiles. It could be a 10 in its category, but the small icons are a terrible design.

Great gateway game that plays more like a cooperative game despite the individual scoring. Very light on strategy but there is enough going on with the drafting and room bonuses to keep it interesting. Working with your partners on shared castles is enjoyable and it is fun seeing how wildly different each castle turns out. The rules and scoring might be a little intimidating to complete beginners, so alternate with experienced players for the seating areangements.

This mesh up is so bad, fiddly scoring and boring as hell. Unnecessary fiddly for what it is. The original Castles of Mad King Ludwig are far better games and Between Two Cities are just better filler game.
