Substantially alters the basic Cryptozoic deck-building format to provide a serviceable AoT experience and a challenging cooperative game. It doesn't get as much play as it could mostly because single games can be very long, gruelling, and end abruptly with player elimination.

In terms of strategy, one character has to absorb lots of wounds (acting as a sacrifice to prevent walls from falling) and it's not fun to be that player. Rules mistake on first play: Titans deal damage simultaneously and you can over kill a wall about to fall or even a hero about to die.

It's great to have an AoT game that employs the well-known Cerberus system, though be aware that this isn't Cerberus proper like the Lord of the Rings and DC deck-builders. It adds a good bit more complication to the setup and the play system, which can seem out of place for those familiar with the other games. That being said, it provides a good AoT experience, complete with nigh-unto insurmountable odds and fantastic artwork from the anime. Overall, I'm glad to have the game in my collection, but I won't be reaching for it as often as the simpler versions.
