One of the better themed deck-builders out there. Things it does right compared to similar games: - Game is purely cooperative instead of semi-coop - Adds a movement mechanic for buying which gives the game much more depth than a usual market row - Player powers are varied and encourage players to build their decks differently, which means less fighting over cards That said, it's still a pretty simple and straightforward game and I'm not that interested in playing again.

For fans of Attack on Titan. I'm not big on most DC Deck builder games but this one has Power and Move which helps. The problem is this game is brutally hard even ignoring some of the most challenging mechanics and it can be hard to find people to play with.

Did the Titan-killing cards come out? Nope? Okay, you lose, try again next time. Edit: This game has some mixed up priorities in its design, including an overreliance on getting the best of the best cards, and mechanics that actively punishes you the more players there are, and the solo mode can become quite easy. Truthfully, the appropriate solution is use the included variants to make the game easier or harder, but it really doesn't feel good to intentionally make the game easier for yourself. It would feel better if the default difficulty was just better to start. Additionally, I think DC Deck-Building Game: Rebirth's Assist cards offer a more intuitive solution to creating cards that can help out other players with defeating a large threat. Just play your cards on their turn, simple as that. But despite all that, I can still say that I actually do enjoy this game. It's a pleasant solo experience, and its high difficulty and sometimes close finishes actually do improve my opinion on the game, when other Cerberus Deck-Building Games don't always offer a challenge. And even losing games can feel fun, just as you act out a desperate and hopeless struggle, making your victorious games feel all the more satisfying. Just don't play it with 4-5 players.
