It uses the same Cerberus engine as the DC game, which I'm not crazy about, but this time it is cooperative and adds two extra layers: on top of the line-up you put the walls and on top of that you put the titans that appear throughout the game to try to destroy the walls each round. The cards become a kind of board on which you will move the characters; you can only buy a card or attack a titan if you are on its space. If you run out of walls or your heroes die, you loose the game. But if you manage to beat all four archenemy titans, you win. And, boy, are the titans strong. This game is HARD, so it barely ever hit the table. However, this one is easy enough to teach and challenging enough to hook players who have the edge to keep trying until they win. My biggest con is that it does feel too long and not as exciting as it should.

A couple of production issues mar an otherwise good game component wise (wrong keyword on cards is a big one :( ) Very difficult to win but nicely thematic if you are into the stories.

This was a decent deck builder. Not a favorite, but not bad either. Will play again, though not sure if my score will improve. Played on the easiest mode, and it seemed like the higher difficulties might be too difficult. Nice quality components though, interesting play style. Worked well with the theme of the game, and incorporating the show.
