Mysterium
Unable to talk, the amnesic ghost will communicate with the mediums through visions (illustrated cards). They will have to decipher the images to help the ghost remember how he was murdered (who? where? which weapon?). The more they cooperate and guess well, the easier it will be to the catch the right culprit.

2 plays / 4,5 players LIKE: The ghost theme matches great with the random picture interpretation. DISLIKE: When someone has completed all three of their clues, it does start to drag. Easy mode is a bit boring. OVERALL: A solid party game. The ghost theme is great. I feel the game only works with at least 4 players. So far our plays have been pretty easy, without much tension. I think we would need N+2, or even N+3 cards per category to give more challenge to the game.

Rating based on one play. We had a lot of fun with this. Quite fiddly for a simple game, which makes learning it for the first game quite lengthy. We just about made it through to the voting stage on the last hour, which was pretty exciting and then lost on the final vote.

I don’t know what rules I use. I play what my cousin taught me, which I think is mostly the Polish version (a different game) with the English setup. I don’t use the wager tokens, anyways. It’s a cooperative game, for Pete’s sake! A big hit at my table. Whichever way you play, it’s a great experience at its core.
