In Action Point (AP) Allowance System games, each player is allotted a certain amount of points per round. These points can be spent on available actions, until the player does not have enough remaining to "purchase" any more actions.
Action Point Allowance System
Deck building/Pool building refers to a collection of related mechanisms. Players have a personal pool, or collection, of cards or tokens, that provide different actions and/or resources. A subset of those cards/tokens are randomly drawn each turn.
Deck / Pool Building
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Bought it on Kickstarter. While the art is nice, the whole content (board itself, meeples, cards, sleeves) feels cheap and flimsy. For the example, the monster miniatures are glued together (multiple pieces per miniature) and this is clearly visible. Some of the icons on the cards are just plain weird and do not make much sense (like a double-headed arrow meaning an uni-directional exchange instead of a bi-directional, a beer-icon on the cards that cannot be found in the manual, missing descriptions in the manual, ...). The game itself is over way too quick for monsters and disaster to have much effect. You play along, nothing really dramatic happens and boom its over and someone won arbitrary (since there is no open point tracker).

Played it at Essen 2018. Game mechanics are a bit finicky, a lot of micromanaging and pre-planning before you can take an actual move. I think the main problem for me lie in its semi-cooperative nature, where you need to plan together but not too closely to avoid the others from "winning". It was too easy as a normal coop game though. Not for me but people who enjoy semi-coop games might like it.

Fun co-op with a lighter theme and fantastic art. Really solid minis, durable. We won all of our games, didn’t find it overly challenging, but enjoyed that victories were measurable by victory points.
