Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Was a great game to play with a group of individuals who were semi-interested in board games. Really interesting dynamic of focusing on your own "world" and how you interact with your fellow players to set them back. Really enjoyed that everyone had their own goals to work towards. Only downside is that with 6 new people it took almost 3 hours to finish a game which was a bit long for a couple of the players. Also, without clear communication, this game could be incredibly deceptive. As everyone's goal is different, it is important that each person states what they're doing. If they do not, then it is easy for one person to pull a win since there are so many moving parts.

Great theme-y fun if you are a mid to hardcore Disney fan. Excellent, original artwork and presentation. A lot of "take that" and a rough endgame, also some balance issues, but still the best deep Disney board game for experienced gamers. The expansions are a big improvement over the core villains. I think this game is a lot better than many serious reviewers seem to give it credit for.
