Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Horrible rulebook, and overall lack of clarity and care in making the gameplay smooth ruins whatcould be a great experience. The publisher/editor drops the ball too often.

Love that this game is played from the Villains side! We also love how each player (villain) has their own objectives so the game is vastly different depending on which character you play. Tons of variation and replay value, super theme, so much fun to play!

Great concept but poorly excecuted. It is as if the producer picked up the use of Marvel to make money but could not piece together a cohesive game. Print defects, cards with no designated rules, unbalanced card layout and character power are just a few issues of the many. We currently have a notebook of flaws in the game. All of this is not to trash the producer. The game has potential to be great and the clear reigning champion of the Villinous series, but it is missing too many marks. My recommendation is wait to buy this game. Let them figure out what the heck is going on. Any game that causes you to spend more time reading the rule book because unlike the regular series nothing here makes sense, is just not a game worth stressing over. I do recommend the other Villainous games, they offer pure enjoyment With little to be questioned. Happy Gaming Everyone!
