Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Maneuvers that directly attack an opposing player's strength, level, life points or do something else to impede their progress.

It's an interesting game that does indeed evoke the source material very well - the cards per villain are thematically perfect. The weakest point of the game is three fold. First, a single play of any villain is likely not enough to know how to win well - e.g. you don't know your deck know how to combo your way to victory. Second, the randomness of cards is off putting and even deterministic to who can win. Third, it is very much a solo affair - you only interact voluntarily and then only obliquely - i.e. you pull 2 fate cards from THEIR deck and play one against them (and some cards have little to no effect as they are dependent on timing). Still, for all that, a fun soloish puzzle game that is very well produced and easy to learn.

Theme and art are incredible. I just don't like Take-That... If you like Take-That, you'll love playing the role of a villain.
