Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Maneuvers that directly attack an opposing player's strength, level, life points or do something else to impede their progress.

Great game to play casually. The artwork and production is stellar. A few knocks against it: 1) Don't play it with more than 3 players. It really turns into a tackle the leader game. 2) Most of your ability to win will be decided by the luck of the draw. There is some room for tactics but the luck is heavy handed here. If you are able to look past these points, then this game will bring some fun memorable experiences.

Was a great game to play with a group of individuals who were semi-interested in board games. Really interesting dynamic of focusing on your own "world" and how you interact with your fellow players to set them back. Really enjoyed that everyone had their own goals to work towards. Only downside is that with 6 new people it took almost 3 hours to finish a game which was a bit long for a couple of the players. Also, without clear communication, this game could be incredibly deceptive. As everyone's goal is different, it is important that each person states what they're doing. If they do not, then it is easy for one person to pull a win since there are so many moving parts.

A very nifty game that suffers a lot with two players, becoming a take-that back-and-forth, especially when playing a new character you are unaccustomed to. Still definitely fun, but can be frustrating and go on too long sometimes.
