So far the best expansion. Who doesn't want to be the Hardy Boys or Encyclopedia Brown. Switches from crime scene to playground justice. I think its the strongest addition so far.

We really enjoyed the first chapter so far. One the one hand we really loved to investigate the places and use the app. But there is also a lot of space above. - Why is there a time limit for the investigation? - The clue cards should be part of the App. They take a lot of space and you forget what they really stood for. - the place on the table is disproportionate to the use - the roleplaying parts. We liked the characters but didnt like the dices in this game. Better option. Give all the kids different skills and let the player decide which kid is the "right choice" for the problem. The game is not family friendly, just for older kids.

The dice-rolling skill checks can be massive gatekeepers to crucial information required to successfully solve your case. If you can’t sneak into a crime scene or sweet talk a certain witness, you may never get the leads you need to connect the dots. During Chapter 3 we wasted our entire last day trying to get into the Double B Bar until the tanks rolled into town and the game just came to an end. Chapter 1: The Beginning - 130/100 Chapter 2: The Beast - 75/100 Chapter 3: The Witch - 44/100 Chapter 4: The Ghost - 130/100 Plays logged with Chronicles of Crime base game.
