A great CoC game with a very exciting atmosphere for all of 80s fans (goonies, stranger things…) Unfortunately the story who looked VERY promising at the beginning sounds weird at the end…a major disappointment. Please test more next time.

This expansion is trying to do too much. Adds skill tests to a deduction game which just doesn’t work for me. Especially since the test results don’t influence the story, failing just requires you to try again until you succeed. Didn’t even finish playing the first case.

We think that this is the weakest entry in the Chronicle of Crimes settings. The "challenges" are simply rolling and comparing dice throws, which - for us - do not really add any excitement to the game. In fact, it is more the opposite that we are annoyed that "luck" defines if we can talk to someone or go to some location. Still some nice scenarios in this box, but overall, the base box is still the one with the best stories from the original series.
