Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
In storytelling games, players are provided with conceptual, written, or pictorial stimuli which must be incorporated into a story of the players' creation.

Warte auf deutsche Ausgabe von Schwerkraft. Jetzt nicht mehr, dauert mir zu lange, ist ja völlig ungewiss, wann das erscheinen soll.

So far, so good. Excellent gameplay makes this one feel different from other, similarly styled board games. Combat takes a backseat to exploration and is improved because of it. Rather than fighting things for the sake of doing something, each battle feels important; that it will yield something worthy of nearly dying for. The number of quests, locations and items is astounding but never really feels overwhelming. Collecting totems is particularly rewarding as you're likely only going to do it once. It is a LARGE game, both footprint-wise and content-wise, so that could be a turn off to some. However, the campaigns are a bit shorter and you can spend several turns just traveling to a far away area, eating up decent portions of campaigns.

Feels like interactive novel and strategy game in same. In this game, I like skill check system more than many others like 7th Continent or Arkham Horror LCG, where it feels very punitive. Game area is very large for explore and I think there is huge replayability, even without expansions.
