Cooperative Play
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Not bad although there is a little bit 'flip-a-card' roll to beat the test generic randomness to it. Given the mechanics are solid but nothing special the game needs to deliver on narrative generation and I didn't feel there was quite enough variety provided in the base box. It needs lots of monsters, lots of maps, lots of different weapons/spell/abilities and lots of challenges/tests etc otherwise it will get samey fast. It just needed 'more' of everything.

Players take on a character and plunge through a D&D style adventure. Small box card game that punches way, way above its weight. Players cooperative to navigate their way through location cards that can contain hazards, barriers, foes and loot, in the quest to defeat the current scenario. These can be linked together in a campaign (where you character grows) or individually. Really nice ideas abound in this gem of a game. The rules are a hefty 60 pages, but there is nothing too difficult in there and it is well worth the effort ... especially if you like a good old dungeon bash (and who doesn't!).

Had huge anticipation for this but it took a couple of games to properly hook me in...but then everything just clicked and now I can’t stop playing. Can’t wait to see where this world goes next
