Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Sorely lacking in variety. Not a fan of the 3d6 combat. Weapon, tool, and gear upgrades have very little, to almost no effect on the game.

Low tech fantasy makes for a surprisingly enjoyable romp through the caves. Goblins and Spiders actually become dangerous when you're just Farmhands thrust into a desperate struggle for survival.

Played a quick, fast, incomplete game. It's bizarre that the rules and instructional videos seem to document a different version of the game. The designers seem to have waffled on the combat system? But I'm not sure why. The version I have seems perfectly workable. It's just unfortunate that it's so confusing which version is which. I have high hopes to like it even more with more plays. But, despite appearances, it is not a small game.
