I liked the concept of the game.. going through rooms and searching for trouble and exploration.. but, sometimes this part takes too long and you just get bored doing nothing.. also there is a lot of "dead" time..

Not as good as the basic original but I do like it added more haunts but I know they can do better now that they have the game down

This has to be the most uneven expansion of any game I've ever bought. The haunts are wildly hit-or-miss. It feels like they simply weren't playtested in most cases. There are a few gems in there, but they're lost amidst a bunch of junk. A lot of the new cards and rooms are decent, but the addition of the Attic as an additional floor is *terrible*. After a while, we banned the attic landing from the game just to keep haunt teams from being able to run too far from each other. The new material is *not* balanced for the original haunts whatsoever. If you need to find rooms X, Y, and/or Z, or cards A, B, and/or C, and suddenly the room and card stacks are twice their base size, well ... good luck with that.
