Oof.. this expansion is a real stinker. It's obvious that the scenario writers were trying to be creative and push the limits of what Betrayal can do. Unfortunately, this results in seemingly every scenario having some overwrought "gimmick" that shows off the writer's cleverness, but isn't actually fun to play. The base game had a few dud scenarios too, but I've now played maybe 10 of the expansion's 50 scenarios, and every single one of them has been slow, dull and frustrating. (Maybe the other 40 scenarios are great, but after 10 unsatisfying plays, how many more chances am I expected to give it?) Then we randomly got a base game scenario and it was like a breath of fresh air - I suddenly remembered why I love this game! Seriously considering just pulling the expansion back out.

To be fair, I'm not an especially huge fan of the original, although I do play it fairly often. This game, however, is much lower in quality than the original in more ways than one. The new components are made with inferior stock compared to the base game. Additionally, the haunts are very poorly balanced, with some of the haunts' writing to be atrocious. It would appear that the designers did not put forth a lot of effort in the QA of their product.

Expande muy bien el juego base con la inclusión de nuevas maldiciones, habitaciones y tarjetas de evento. Hubiera sido deseable que incluyera uno dos personajes jugables nuevos también.
