ACEL13
It's very well integrated into the original game. Once or twice though we ran into a situation where the new roof level threw off haunts from the original game.
Absolutionis
Imagine taking every one of the problems from the base BaHotH game and not only repeating them, but making the haunt scenarios worse. Every single one of the haunts is just uninspired and disjointed. The one thing keeping the base game entertaining has been bloated with inspired narratives. None of the problems from the original game is fixed nor improved upon.

Much-anticipated expansion did not disappoint for me. There are some good additions here, most notably the 50 new haunts. New rooms add good flavor (and there's finally a bathroom!!). And I even think the little player tokens are useful. My only criticism would probably be the amount of new cards. Not as much the Items/Omens, but I would have liked to at least see the Event stack double.
