I cant remember which is base and which is expansion after I gave it away. Lovely intro ameritrash game but not something to be kept as my interest developed into more strategic + thematic + campaign-like games.

This has to be the most uneven expansion of any game I've ever bought. The haunts are wildly hit-or-miss. It feels like they simply weren't playtested in most cases. There are a few gems in there, but they're lost amidst a bunch of junk. A lot of the new cards and rooms are decent, but the addition of the Attic as an additional floor is *terrible*. After a while, we banned the attic landing from the game just to keep haunt teams from being able to run too far from each other. The new material is *not* balanced for the original haunts whatsoever. If you need to find rooms X, Y, and/or Z, or cards A, B, and/or C, and suddenly the room and card stacks are twice their base size, well ... good luck with that.

Heard the game had lots of broken haunts. Traded it. With Betrayal Legacy and the base game, I don't need this.
