Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Bayushi Sezaru
Arkham Horror: the Card Game is an awesome crossover between RPG and card game, thriving in atmosphere character development. No need to point out that expanding the card pool (both with new scenarios and new investigator cards) is a great way to keep it fresh and enticing! The Search for Kadath is the first of the fifth cycle of Mythos Packs, and contains the second scenario of the first half of The Dream-Eaters campaign. In addition, of course there are a few new tasty player cards.

This one seems like it's not that well balanced for solo investigators. A bit of a shame, because I really enjoyed the concept of it. Welp, maybe I went into it with wrong expectations. It is probably just one of these "do as much as you can before time runs out" scenarios.

Now this is a cool idea for a scenario and the "Do as much as you can" sort of framework and opens it up for a lot of replay. It's got a great sense of adventure and the sprawling scope of your Dreamlands exploration. The mechanics are only a slight variation on what we've seen before, but they're a very good variation and each of the "lands" you visit feels different. The player cards in this pack are also amazing. Only Followed is a bit a of a miss, but it's a card who's time may not have just come yet (since Trish is in the next set).
