Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

The Lost Realm is the fourth non-Saga deluxe expansion for LOTR LCG, and it adds a bunch of new cards to the base game. There's a small stash of new cards for the players decks, centered around Dúnedain cards. The theme here is engaging enemies, and getting more benefits the more enemies engaged. There are two new Heroes: a new Tactics Aragorn (capable of engaging enemies) and Halbarad (he, too, definitely pushes the engagement further). There's also three new scenarios (together with some cards that will be used in the Angmar Awakened cycle). The scenarios are definitely tough to beat, they have an increasing difficulty, but are well balanced and quite fun to play.

-sold- sleeved Angmar Awakened 0 --- Since I'm playing a Tactics/Leadership deck these two heroes come quite handy. The quests are pretty nice and I'm excited and curios what the Angmar-story will be.
