Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management

The initial campaign expansion for Marvel Champions is a very solid start: it greatly expands the number of scenarios available, has two very cool new heroes (especially Spider-Woman, but I dig the thematic design of Hawkeye, as well), and the campaign is short enough (and interesting enough) to play that it invites multiple playthroughs with different combinations of superheroes. If you were hoping for Arkham Horror: The Card Game-level story immersion or for more complex mechanisms to be added, you might be disappointed, but Marvel Champions has always excelled as a streamlined LCG that is easier to get into and to get to the table than some of its peers, and Rise of the Red Skull fits that approach well. That makes sense (and I enjoy it) but I also hope future expansions will eventually take a few more risks in expanding the gameplay, and introduce slightly deeper campaign aspects.

Expansion for the Rise of Red Skull. This expansion introduced a Campaign mode, adds 5 new villains (Crossbones, Absorbing Man, Taskmaster, Zola, and Red Skull) , and 2 new Heroes (Hawkeye and Spider Woman). Same rating as base game.

Cool campaign, but I they could have made more out of it. Still it is very fun to play and I like, that you can play the scenarios outside of the campaign. Although, it is sometimes weird, because you have to do the stuff, that actually has no relevance. The two new Heroes are cool and unique and fun to play with.
