Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management

Excellent setting and very well done. A lot of decisions made earlier in the campaign come back to haunt the players.

A difficult scenario with important decisions to make (to keep or not the old locations in play). Really liked the setting and the mechanics, even if the random aspect is a bit too present.

Loved this expansion. Really conveys the feeling of being in some otherworldly dimension with locations appearing and disappearing while you're desperately searching to find a little place called The Edge of the Universe so you can seal the rift in reality before Yog Sothoth shows up to stomp you. A great climax to a wonderful campaign.
