Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

The first quest didnt appeal to me, won it on first try fortunately. The second one I played exhaustively, if you dont have a big card pool to combo out the first step the quest can be very hard and you will often lose early but otherwise its an interesting and enjoyable quest. The third quest always seemed impossible so I went on to try other APs in the same cycle. The main aspect here is the tactic sphere and combat. The player cards are outstanding in every way.

My favorite expansion so far. I really, really loved this one. You need to own quite a few of the expansions before you stand a chance of consistent wins. I always want to play these three adventures with my friends.

The different questing mechanics really mess with the deck structures. I'm not one for customizing decks based on scenario but I might need to in this case.
