Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Won on 7th try. At first this seemed to be as difficult as the Dunland Trap, but we managed to win this quite sooner (mainly thanks to over-equiped Eomer and Beregond). Obviously we might have got lucky, but still the control here is bigger (your attachments and allies don't desert you so hastily).

An interesting quest that gives the players a fairly strong hero but throws a lot of enemies at the players while putting them on the clock.
Shellin
A fine pack to finish off The Ring-Maker cycle. Erkenbrand is a really solid hero that is going to be even better with the upcoming errata to A Burning Brand. Ally Treebeard is still probably the best ally in the cardpool, and Booming Ent is quite good as well. The rest of the cards are unfortunately fairly situational or mediocre. The quest itself is certainly interesting, but trying to keep track of the amount of time counters and triggers on quest cards AND locations is just a bear, especially in multiplayer.
