I was very disappointed that this game did not used the Unearthed Arcana - I liked the idea of certain classes being allowed into certain schools, and their perks were fun and thematic. The students from each school do not seem unique - a student of the school will leave the school behaving like any other mage, wizard, etc. Some thoughts: the book is primarily an adventure, with rules for school sprinkled throughout. Very thin rules at that. I found far more information about the school in a video about the magic set than I did this book. There is nearly NO information given about the world where this school resides. Such a wasted opportunity.
