Publisher’s blurb:
A perpetual haze of dreary rain hangs over the spires of Ravnica. Bundled against the weather, the cosmopolitan citizens in all their fantastic diversity go about their daily business in bustling markets and shadowy back alleys. Through it all, ten guilds—crime syndicates, scientific institutions, church hierarchies, military forces, judicial courts, buzzing swarms, and rampaging gangs—vie for power, wealth, and influence. These guilds are the foundation of power on Ravnica. They have existed for millennia, and each one has its own identity and civic function, its own diverse collection of races and creatures, and its own distinct subculture. Their history is a web of wars, intrigue, and political machinations as they have vied for control of the plane.

Amazon order came damaged. It wasn't packaged well. Returned for a replacement. It arrived LESS damaged. I don't think I will be buying these books from Amazon anymore.

I supported the FLGS. I exchanged my store credit for a little price off which made it worth it. I rarely run large politics games. The Minotaur class looks good.

Really interesting races and classes + lots of ideas for adventures on Ravnica (though I think they can easily be used for big cities in any settings to some degree, like guild ranks etc. maaybe a huge city in your setting has guilds similar to some of the ravnica guilds) Good ideas for villans and adventures inside the guilds themself; great guidance for the players on what they can consider while making the characters (why did they join a spoecific guild - do they just agree with the guild philosophy, or do they want to be a rebel and join the guild to untimately change it, or somthing else).
