Sword & Sorcery – Immortal Souls
Five heroes awoke from the dead and were made immortal to save the kingdom from the rise of darkness. In Sword & Sorcery – Immortal Souls, up to five players control one or more of these legendary characters brought back to life by powerful sorcery, to fight against the forces of evil, controlled by the game itself.

It's a serviceable dungeon crawler, and plays well solitaire. However, in my current life stage I have too many other games that demand attention over this one to justify owning it. Maybe I'll revisit it someday.

This is one of the top dungeon crawling board games, and is a hit due to it’s cooperative mechanics. The enemy AI is comprehensive, the campaign is well thought out, and you can easily see the hours fly by due to the immersion that this game provides. My group likens the mechanics to Diablo or World of Warcraft for the table, and it shows! If you are into dungeon crawlers and can handle the difficult nature of the game, you will not be disappointed.

Lopsided excellence. The best enemy design by a very wide margin, even the simplest goons have deep mechanics and could potentially deal deadly blows. Careful movement and positioning are required to mitigate hostile abilities & events. Hero abilities are, however, shallow - ability use is no more than 'use whenever off cooldown'. Limited long-term character development - no interesting decisions when it comes to how one should choose their talents or items or interactions with NPCs.
