Sword & Sorcery – Immortal Souls
Five heroes awoke from the dead and were made immortal to save the kingdom from the rise of darkness. In Sword & Sorcery – Immortal Souls, up to five players control one or more of these legendary characters brought back to life by powerful sorcery, to fight against the forces of evil, controlled by the game itself.

Lopsided excellence. The best enemy design by a very wide margin, even the simplest goons have deep mechanics and could potentially deal deadly blows. Careful movement and positioning are required to mitigate hostile abilities & events. Hero abilities are, however, shallow - ability use is no more than 'use whenever off cooldown'. Limited long-term character development - no interesting decisions when it comes to how one should choose their talents or items or interactions with NPCs.

Umm --- started at a 9 rating. Now completed Mission 5 from base game solo and I was a little bored. It felt far too easy. Hopefully it will get harder in the next mission.

What a mess. As generic a dungeon crawler as can be, including weirdly out-of-place pop culture references ("A tomb raider called Lara"), overcomplicated damage calculation), a ridiculous amount of randomness (encounter cards) and a dull campaign. But there are good sides: it looks rather pretty, the enemy "AI" well done and the weapons and spells feel powerful. There's just no reason for me to continue playing after a few runs. It's repetitive, overly generic and requires a lot of time for setup as well as "saving" (despite the app).
