Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

A pleasant and beautiful light strategy game similar in ways to Stratego, definitely not a brain burner. In a way, this game reminds me of American football, you create a play, set up your line and execute, adapting to your opponent.

In Korea, it was released under the name Hanami Koji 2, and it is being compared with Hanami Koji. Compared to Hanamikoji, the case has been lowered due to difficult rules and low gameability.

Really underrated two player game. The play is simple enough (stratego-esque but much better) and the bluffing between the two players is great as you are fighting for three different winning conditions all of which are viable, but you have to read into your opponent's moves to ascertain which you should try and go for and not fall into a trap.
