Betting/Wagering games are games that encourage or require players to bet money (real or in-game) on certain outcomes within the game.
Betting/Wagering
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

I got the international version so I could have all the rip-off characters, which certainly contributes heavily to my enjoyment of a kind of standard worker placement game. That said, the idea of the tourney at the end- if not quite always the execution of it- is one of my favorite ideas in all of games.

Nota tras la primera partida. Pretendo volver a jugar para confirmar las sensacion agridulce que me dejo.

Was on my watch-list for Essen'15. Played it on the booth and immediately bought it. Cool workerplacement mechanics in a nice setting of managing and expanding a Dojo. Quality material and good artworks! My version included all 4 language versions of the rulebook.
