Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Hero :star::nostar: Cards :star::halfstar::nostar: Quest :star::star::star::halfstar::nostar: This is a really tough quest that required very specific cards to come up to make it work - especially healing. There is not much variety in encounter deck which means that once a strategy has been developed it comes down to the draw of the cards; challenging quest to begin again after a break! Hero and cards promise at the future sylvan deck but this has not yet proven to be powerful.

This has offered one of the most thematic experiences for me since the Dwarrowdelf days. Surprising - but this is just an adventure which was precisely targeted against my solo tri-sphere approach, in a good way!
