Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Rating based on 2 plays at 4p. Very interesting concept blending bag-building/push-your-luck (e.g Quacks), and card drafting/area control (e.g Blood Rage) which works very well with the theme. Kudos to that! There is a decent amount of randomness to the game, but with enough strategic depth and decisions, combined with the 6 unique faction/ally/Wonderlandian abilities, allowing for strategic and tactical decisions to mitigate bad draws to a decent extent IMO. Overall, this is just a really fun casual game for me. Setup and teardown is a chore, but 3d printed storage solutions can reduce the admin time considerably. Min/maxers can drag the game longer than it should take, but I don't think a game with this level of randomness is gonna attract those kinds of folk too often (hopefully ; ). Looking to play this more with my family as I think it's a great family game. 5/20/2023 - Bump from 8.5 to 9 => Replay value is insane with the different Wonderlandian cards, 5 set of Ally Decks which can be mixed and matched with repeated plays, but mostly importantly, the game is always fun for me and if I haven't played the WW for several weeks, I get a really strong craving to bring it out (even after a long day at work).

The components are great, but the gameplay is too random when you take the long playing time into consideration. I also didnt like the turn order mechanic that can hurt the player sitting to the right of the player with the lowest amount of VP.

So many things to do! Love both phases, and the bag-building is stratetic enough where the chance component doesn't detract from the game. BIG, really BIG game.
