October 1888: During the construction of the Metropolitan Police headquarters near Whitehall, which would later be known as Scotland Yard, the remains of a body were found. In September, a severed arm had already been discovered in the muddy shore of the River Thames.
There is another murderer roaming the streets of London in Whitehall, amusing himself by spreading the pieces of a poor woman around Whitehall, like some kind of macabre treasure hunt. The identity of this monster and his unfortunate victim are a mystery, the Whitehall Mystery.

I really love this game! Its hard, but thrilling and such a fun man hunt. Up to 3 players are detectives and the 4th is Jack the ripper running around London causing chaos! This game can also be played with just 2 players, one player is all 3 detectives and the other is Jack. I've played both ways and its so much fun and just as challenging either way!

Yup, exactly what people say it is. A shorter, more streamlined, cleaner Letters From Whitechapel. I really liked LfW as a great tense experience. But it's long and there's very little game for the investigators to play. The rules on some of the edge cases were slightly wonky, and the whole thing just felt like it was so close to being great but just had a few things that kept me from wanting to play it a lot. They're slightly different but it really does address many of the issues people may have with Letters. I can wholeheartedly recommend this game. Bumping the rating down since I've discovered Garibaldi. While this is probably "better", Garibaldi has more personality.

Consigliato!!!:-)
