There is just too much going on with this game. Too many options, too many chaining effects, too much AP making the time played very watered down. I really liked the ideas here with the tableau building, resting being rewarding, and the polyomino board.. but the execution is just not too my tastes. Im also just not a huge fan of the variety of scoring objective cards causing players to all be going there own direction for VP

Some very intriguing and thoughtful mechanisms here. My favorite part is all of the different but intuitive ways that upgrades occur in this game (e.g., dice manipulation, tucking cards behind sky cards or locations). However, I felt that the game could've added more ways to cycle through the card decks more. The worst was the character deck, which just didn't align with any locations for us. While this may be atypical, it feels like a miss to not account for it. In past games, there were ways to dismiss cards to gain a benefit. I would've suggested incorporating that here.

I absolutely adore this game, but I love cards and dice driven games, combines all of hte best mechanics into one game.
