Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.
Dice Rolling
Player elimination occurs in multiple-player games (>2) when a player can be eliminated from the game and play continues without the eliminated player.
Player Elimination
Some board games incorporate elements of role playing. It can be that players control a character that improves over time. It can also be a game that encourages or inspires storytelling.
Role Playing
Tile Placement games feature placing a piece to score VPs, with the amount often based on adjacent pieces or pieces in the same group/cluster, and keying off non-spatial properties like color, "feature completion", cluster size etc.

Played the base game once. Heavily rely on dice rolls to do most actions. Tests are uninteresting and does not make sense, thematically. There are several interesting ghosts and characters, but the gameplay itself if mediocre at best. Couple bad dice rolls will decide the game so maybe it does not really matter how well you plan ahead. Just not my type of game, I guess.

A fun and punishing game in the same vein as Betrayal at House on the Hill. This one has a theme geared more to the slasher film vibe, instead of the old horror movie. As such, the pace and difficulty are quite a bit more frantic and punishing. The only gripe I have is that some of the rules are too favorable to the monster, making the game almost impossible to win without multiple runs and a lot of min-maxing. My group tends to house rule the monster coming out a bit later than set by the game (at least a couple more turns), and sometimes we tweak health amount for victims

The game just arrived and as any unknown kickstarter you always start playing with a small expectation so you don't get dissapointed. It is now 3 am in the morning and the groups wants to play a 4th time! We all want to be the cursed one and start hunting your friends! Love the mechanic and artwork! Good job to this first published game! Can’t wait for future games!
